We laid eyes on one another in June of 2016. Talked for the first time in August of 2017. Started dating on October 22nd, 2017. Anthony proposed on November 11th, 2019 and we got married on April 19th, 2020. Here’s a little about us!

Emily Huerta! She is passionate about helping young girls understand their value as daughters of Christ, learn their identity in Him, and coach ladies into their destiny through Biblical principals. Emily is intentional with her relationships, which has broadened my outlook. Since dating, our relationship has chiseled away at past perspectives that had caked up around my heart. She is principled, determined and never met an injustice she wasn’t willing to fight. Her parents have been in YWAM for 35 years, so she was born a “Wee-WAM’er”. Growing up mission-minded gave her permission to tackle one of society’s darkest injustices, foster care. At age 15 she began a ministry focused towards teenage girls in foster care called KEEPS. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

It is my greatest JOY to introduce you to the one and only Anthony Huerta! Anthony also serves full-time with YWAM and leads a team of 7 called Mobilization. They devote all of their time investing relationally to mobilize individuals into the next thing God has for them! Anthony is from my favorite state…TEXAS, born and raised in Lubbock. He claims to be an introvert but is the friendliest, loudest, most outgoing, never met a stranger introvert I’ve ever known. Our story is one of those “love at first sight” kinda stories. From the moment I saw him, I was in. I actually saw him for the first time during the relationships week of his Discipleship Training School with YWAM, ironically my mom was his teacher. Little did we know. Anthony is a kindred spirit, he’s sold out to Jesus, he doesn’t shy away from the radical and he’s always seeking to learn and apply his learnings into growth. The way he loves people reflects Jesus’ compassion and I couldn’t be more giddy excited to minister alongside him as we expand our ministry as a family!
